New coaches develop an array of skills and knowledge as they prepare to build a practice. In addition to developing coach-specific training, a new coach seeking ICF credentials is required to receive mentor coaching, in other words, they must receive coaching on their coaching skills.

There are an estimated 20,000 individuals worldwide who hold ICF credentials; the gold standard in the coaching arena.  If you are working toward joining this group of elite professionals, Forge Coaching & Consulting can help.

Mentor Coaching and International Coach Federation (ICF) Credentials

To apply for a credential from ICF, you must receive at least 10 mentor coaching hours over a minimum of 3 months. ICF requires that at least 3 of the hours are conducted one-to-one while up to 7 hours may be conducted in a group setting of up to 10 participants. Set out below are the two options Forge Coaching & Consulting provides for you to achieve the 10 required hours.
